Adobe Captivate

Adobe Captivate is a software package that allows you to make interactive presentations and learning activities. Interactive features include, adding video, quizzes and PowerPoint slides to your presentation.

Why do I need it?

Through the use of this tool you can engage students and make these presentations and learning activities available in Blackboard. This promotes student interest and retention by allowing students to repeat and move through lessons at their own pace.

How do I get it?

Faculty and staff are able to request an install of Adobe Captivate on a college-owned computer by creating a ticket through the ITS Help Desk at 5555@algonquincollege.com or in person at room C102.
