Theresa Radmore: Drawing from Inspiration
Written by Val Sayah, Centre for Organizational Learning
In her working life, Theresa Radmore works as a caretaker for Physical Resources. In her spare time, she produces beautiful works of art.
Theresa's journey to discover her artistic talents began in 1982 when she signed up for her first formal art lesson in "E" Building of Algonquin College.
In 2009, Theresa was selected to be the recipient of the Stuart Cranston Award. This award is in memory of an Algonquin student who excelled in creative arts in the School of Media and Design and is remembered for his love of the arts, people, and life.
Recently, Theresa presented a piece of art that she created for Algonquin's on-site daycare. Further details about this presentation will appear in the next edition of "In Contact".
You can see her sketches in person for the next few weeks by visiting the Applauding Staff Talent showcase outside of the Centre for Organizational Learning office at C134.
