Gus Takkale
Gus Takkale is a business graduate and a neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner. He is also the author of the international best-selling book The 5C's in Change. As a former executive of SAP, HILTI and Arthur Andersen, Gus has worked with a variety of global organizations in executing small and large-scale change projects. Gus has recently developed and led ‘emotional transitioning’ sessions associated with SAP's acquisition to Business Objects and HILTI's multi-country cultural change initiative.
Mr. Takkale is a member of the Global Speakers Federation and sits on the Executive Board of CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers) in Ottawa. He brings 18 years of world-wide corporate experience spanning across the globe from North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He has worked in some of the world's best run businesses such as software giant SAP as their Vice President of Transformation and also as Regional Director for HILTI, one of the world's largest multi-national power tools company. Prior to that, Mr. Takkale helped transform many companies as a Management Consultant with Arthur Anderson.
Keynote Address
Mr. Takkale’s keynote address is entitled “MAKE IT HAPPEN: Embrace Change … and Thrive on it He will focus on empowerment towards personal effectiveness and achieving higher productivity taking the audience on a journey of the 5 Cs of character, constructiveness, commitment, communication, and contribution. Mr. Takkale will inspire us to expect more from ourselves by discovering our inner power and by unlocking the desire, passion and greatness within ourselves and others. He will help us to embrace a new mindset, provide us with tools to develop skills that will help us to thrive on change. Finally, Mr. Takkale will motivate us to take action, aim higher and take personal responsibility for our results to re-gain traction during and after change, to create relationships that allow us to work more effectively with colleagues and clients, and to become proactive in developing workplace effectiveness.
