Avatars At Algonquin. Novel Approaches to Interprofessional Education

Simulation experiences in online immersive worlds enhance learners' teamwork and communication skills. We will describe the process of creating, implementing and evaluating an innovative educational program in a virtual world where learners interact as avatars. Participants in this session will also have the opportunity to create their own avatar, and navigate in a virtual world.
