Supporting Students Making Difficult Decisions: A Practical Tool

Students face an array of challenging decisions during their College experiences: “Should I stay in this program or switch to another?”, “Where do I want to go for my co-op or placement experience?”, “Can I afford to stay in school?” These are all values-sensitive decisions, and faculty, coordinators, counsellors and advisors are often in a position to support students as they make them. This workshop will provide an overview of The Ottawa Decision Guide, a framework and tool that can be useful to students and those who assist them in working through difficult decisions.
