M&M: A Motivational Menu of Music to Movement

Let's make our College a vibrant learning environment that celebrates our diversity!! This hands-on workshop will provide you with sample routines and accompanying music that can be used to lead effective "exercise breaks" in the classroom and the meeting room. These 2-5 minute routines can increase mental alertness as well as add a sense of camaraderie and esprit de corps within your classes and meetings. The workshop will also briefly explore the history of this workplace wellness concept and provide tips on how to create your own exercise breaks that are inclusive and work within your physical space. All attendees will receive a personal CD of music with accompanying exercise routines. No special exercise attire is required.
