What your brain wants from PowerPoint

Come and join Dr. Atherton in a remote presentation all the way from the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, United Kingdom. In this session she will talk about her research on use of PowerPoint and explain some findings from psychology that suggest not only how to make your slides more engaging, but also to design them so that your students remember the material better. You will also do some fun exercises highlighting how the brain works, and feed that into some practical work on slide design. Come prepared to enjoy yourself and ask questions!
