Presentation Skills
Using a variety of teaching styles, lecture, Q and A and role plays participants will be given opportunities to develop their presentation skills. The presentation will be delivered in 5 parts including ‘the sizzle’ (how to introduce your topic); ‘some basic rules’ (how to own the classroom); ‘building trust’; ‘non-verbal communications’; and ‘pauses and fillers’. Participants will (1) learn to use designated voice and body language skills to enhance their speaking and communication , (2) practice communication strategies conducive to effective learning and communicating, and (3) share ideas and experiences with colleagues and experts.Back to Conference Program
