With the increase in experiential student learning in international and cross-cultural settings, there is a need to adequately prepare students for their cross cultural experience.  This workshop proposes to explore why it is essential to prepare students for these experiences.  Through discussions and dynamic group activities, participants can learn about cross-cultural preparation, and the tools and techniques for facilitating this with students going abroad.  This workshop may also be of interest to faculty or staff who may be involved in international or cross-cultural travel for work or personal reasons.
