Building Community Through International Service Learning Projects

This workshop will explore the opportunity to build community through program participation in an international service learning project.  The model being examined focuses on the Child and Youth Worker experience in Nicaragua in March 2010. This session will examine the benefits and challenges of such a project and will explore the impact on the community of learners both in the CYW program, the broader college community, the Ottawa community and our international partners.
