Affirmation Based PedagogyRob D'Alessio Affirmation and mindfulness-based pedagogy for learner-centered teaching believes that mindful communication is the key to building insight and professionalism when modeling behaviour to students and colleagues. This workshop offers appropriate self-awareness and communication skills development. It also reviews how thinking patterns can develop goal-orientation strategies for an enhanced understanding of what it means to be successful. This will be done by analyzing both psychological and sociological theories related to how mental health influences overall well-being. Back to Conference Program
