I Can Do Applied Research?  Yes, I Can!

Doing research is often thought of as being the domain of university professors or researchers working for large companies.  The reality it that every one of us does research on a regular basis - for example, when you are determining which car to buy  or how to cook a better omelet. Why not learn to apply what you already do in new and creative ways to incorporate applied research activities into your teaching and professional development?  The focus of the workshop is on identifying and implementing principles of applied research that can be utilized in any project in any field of study.  If you don't know how to do research, by the end of this workshop you'll be saying "Hey, I can do this!"  If you already have applied research experience this workshop will provide you with additional tools to improve your effectiveness and efficiency.
