Navigating a Multicultural Environment: The Challenges and Rewards

This highly participatory session focuses on the complexities of managing a multicultural environment, addressing both the multicultural classroom and general multicultural issues as they pertain to the general college environment. The objective of the session is to assist faculty and staff to foster a productive, engaged, and respectful learning environment. The session will draw on the experiences of participants using case-studies and small group discussions to better understand the core challenges that exist when teaching and working with a diverse population.
