Next Steps for Sustainability

From vision to action, this workshop explores opportunities to infuse sustainability into any course or program.  You will learn about what some of the professional associations are doing and what resources are available. Dr. Rowe will provide specific examples from multiple disciplines as well as interdisciplinary approaches. You will hear about the ways many colleges are incorporating sustainability activities into their curricula, student life, facilities, purchasing and community partnerships. Dr. Rowe will also share specific examples and resources regarding content and instructional methods. Participants choose their own learning activities for sustainability and discuss the possibilities and the next steps for both individual and systemic change at Algonquin College.
