Technology Tools for ESL Students

It is not technology itself that supports learning and promotes academic success. How technology is used and how students are supported while using it are two key factors contributing to success.
In this session you will hear the variety of ways Ann-Marie and Nan have helped ESL students make the most of technology in the Nursing Program. For example, you will see how they help students use the high-fidelity simulation laboratory, Blackboard discussion forums, the Internet, and even hand-held electronic translators. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences related to supporting ESL students via the use of technology.
