Working with Effective Teams

“No man is an island, entirely of itself”.  Although slightly out of context this quotation by John Donne applies in the workplace as in everyday life. Of necessity we work with others.  We are part of a team whether manager or team player.  Upon completion of this workshop you will be able to: describe your own behavioural tendencies and those of others; verbalize an appreciation for individual differences and how these strengthen the work team; describe several strategies for building strong work teams including facilitating effective team meetings and managing conflict.  This workshop is geared towards those in managerial positions within the College.
