Text messaging, ipods, wii, blogging - the new literacy of isolation means a brand new student. Is the constantly plugged-in high school leaver prepared to meet our expectations or do our expectations need to be altered? In this workshop you will meet the millennial and the latest addition, the neo-millennial student. You will meet a panel of high school teachers who are currently working with the new student as well as examine successful strategies already being utilized at the College. Peace out, far out, radical, cool, like you know, yo!....whatever your literacy used to be, this session will prepare you for this new one!
