If you were on campus last year for Quilt Canada you will know that quilting is not to be taken lightly! The technology revolution has had two major effects on quilting, one is that people are turning to the craft to help satisfy their tactile needs and also for the mental respite it provides - it is not a surprise that 2007 has been declared the Year of the Craft.  The second is the introduction of some inventive tools which have facilitated the craft immensely.  Quilting is no longer the craft our grandmothers knew. Come and see and hear about some of the latest tools and techniques that have revolutionized this craft.  Come and be inspired by the possibilities.
