Alison West-Armstrong, Counsellor, Centre for Students with Disabilities

Dr. Karima LaceneHow do I work with the learning, physical and emotional/behavioural needs ofstudents withdisabilities?  When do I contact the Centre for Students with Disabilities with my concerns?  This roundtable discussion is ideal for faculty concerned with the academic issues of their students withdisabilities; for support staff who want helpful strategies for interacting with students who have high needs; for program coordinators providing a guidance role; or for those teacherswilling to share their ideas and insights when dealing with this population of students.  In this interactive session, disability information will be shared, and the presenters and participants will brainstorm solutions to current problems and collaborate on participant generated case studies.
