Cathy Kenney, Professor, School of Media & Design
Dana Lennox, Professor/Coordinator, Police Foundations
“Humour is by far the most significant behavior of the human brain" Edward de Bono. Laughter gets oxygen to the brain and literally makes it work better. It reduces tension in the workplace and helps in the healing process. So, why do we resist bringing laughter into the workplace? Everyone has experienced that awkward moment when humour didn't work. In this workshop you will explore the use of appropriate humour in the workplace as well as in the classroom. You will learn how to keep humour positive, enjoyable and how you can utilize it in the workplace without risk.
