Come to this workshop to find out why and how to assess your course for the essential elements of an outcome-based curriculum. You will explore the role of the teacher/facilitator in an outcome-based learning environment. Included in the session are: a brief overview of the essential elements of outcome-based education (OBE), examining challenges for the teacher in designing curriculum through the eyes of the learner and ending with presentations of best practices in OBE at Algonquin as well as related testimonials from administration, faculty, and learners. Opportunities for discussion are threaded throughout the session.
